Mission
The objective of W.I.L.D. is to gather momentum amongst the common man to take constructive action to protect the local environment and to find easy, innovative and workable options and methods to bring the people out of their apathy towards environmental degradation.
Description
Started in December 2011, Working for Indian Living Diversity or W.I.L.D. as it's popularly known as, was the brainchild of 6 friends not yet out of their teens. Whilst still in school, these youngsters decided to take conscientious action for the betterment of the flora and fauna around us.
Being teens themselves, the founding committee knew what an uphill task it is for an average man to take drastic steps and hence the philosophy-"Every little thing counts."Though still in its infancy, W.I.L.D. has created an impact and has been lauded for its efforts by the stalwarts of environmental conservation.
